If you think it's silly for people to have to stop wearing crucifix necklaces at work or saying "Merry Christmas", then you have absolutely no right to argue that we should be banning hijabs. The right to religious expression doesn't mean just yours.
I find this attitude a lot on this website, the idea that tolerance = weakness.
That the term "cuck", which is meant to refer to someone who sits back and lets his wife have sex with another man, is used to describe anyone who treats foreign (especially Middle Eastern) cultures with anything except absolute contempt is a clear illustration of just how hostile people can still be towards anyone that's different.
Where's weakness in trying to find common ground among differences? Where's the strength in closing yourself off from and insulting anything you don't understand?
I want to thank those of you on here who still have the sense to try and reach common ground with people who are different to you. It's you who keep my hope alive. Thank you all.
